Four PM Flash. Here's your live market snapshot. Gold is trading at four thousand five hundred forty one dollars an ounce. WTI oil is at ninety eight dollars and thirteen cents a barrel. Bitcoin is currently at seventy seven thousand six hundred thirty four dollars. European and Asian markets are showing strength this evening as traders rotate into hard assets amid persistent inflation concerns. In other news, annuity payouts have reached their highest levels in years, a direct result of the inflation that continues to drive these record moves in gold and bitcoin. On a more personal note, a heartbreaking story out of New York where a grandmother who had just arrived for her overnight cleaning shift fell down an open manhole and died.
