Good morning everyone. At nine o'clock AM, markets are opening virtually flat as Wall Street continues to digest the latest inflation numbers. The S&P 500 is currently trading at seven thousand five hundred fourteen point forty seven, down just four point sixty five points or about a tenth of a percent. Oil is holding steady near ninety one dollars a barrel at ninety point ninety seven, while gold continues its remarkable run, now sitting at four thousand four hundred fifty two point eighty. Bitcoin remains strong above seventy two thousand, currently changing hands at seventy two thousand eight hundred twenty eight point zero eight. With the VIX unavailable this morning, traders are watching the currency and commodity markets closely for directional cues. So far it's a quiet start to the trading day, but all eyes remain on the upcoming economic releases that could set the tone for the rest of the week.
