Definition
A protocol that connects two separate blockchain networks, enabling the transfer of assets and data between them. Bridges lock tokens on one chain and mint equivalent tokens on the destination chain.
Example
Bridges allow users to move USDC from Ethereum to Arbitrum by locking ETH-based USDC and minting equivalent Arbitrum USDC.
